Last year, I was given the opportunity to be on the SkillsUSA Parliamentary Procedures Team. I took it.

Mrs. Patricia Hudson (Parliamentary Procedure Extraordinaire) explained to us that there will be two teams in Information Technology Center (ITC), A.M. and P.M. . The A.M. team has some amazing and sharp people, myself included. We do training on “eLearn” specifically for our team and we meet at least once a week to practice.

 leadership and job searching. I felt pretty good about this test! The second was over parliamentary procedures. This test was a lot harder and had 100 questions! Our test scores are compared with other parliamentarian teams from other schools. The competition is on!!  The main part of the competition is performing a meeting which is judged on following the parliamentary procedure to a “T”. It’s kind of like a play but everyone knows everyone else’s part. Mrs. Hudson and my team members are awesome! I have confidence in our abilities to come home winners this year.
